HyperHosting was created to give our customers a reliable and supportive web hosting company.

We tried numerous web hosting companies and not one offered a combination of good technical support and a reliable server. At one point and time we fell for hosting companies that promised unlimited transfer and disk space and then they didn't live up to their promise.

Then we tried web hosting companies that offered us incredible amounts of storage space and bandwidth for a cheap price, only to find out they couldn't truly provide this. We even tried a more reasonably priced web host only to find out they kept our money and would very rarely reply to e-mails and if they did, it took multiple days of waiting.

This was the case with nearly every web hosting company we tried. They all failed to provide a reply time of 24 hours, and that was even on business days! Many of them didn't even bother to reply to us at all. One company was consistent with a 3 day reply time, but it usually was a one sentence reply that didn't answer our question.

Needless to say we became sick of this pathetic service and decided that we would start our own web hosting company. This was in 1999 and we haven't looked back since.

Network Connectivity & Hardware

As you have already read, at HyperHosting we strive for quality. This doesn't stop at our network or hardware. Our servers all run on Intel Pentium III or IV processors that start at a minimum of 800 MHz. Our customers are hosted on dual processor systems, using a RAID5 setup, and Seagate X15 Ultra160 SCSI drives that spin at 15,000 RPM and they have an impressive seek time of 3.9ms.

Our network starts at an OC-12 Sonet Smart Ring, which is connected to an incredible 4 different backbone providers! This provides us with redundancy and speed that is hard to match. Our backbone providers are AT&T, UUNet, Global Crossing, and Level 3 Communications. All of our customers servers are located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the DialTone Internet facility.

The datacenter itself is built to withstand a direct hurricane, floods, and other natural disasters. We also use APC UPS for immediate battery backup, large enterprise power backup for entire datacenter outages, and a diesel generator for any extended outages.

The datacenter also has complete fire suppression systems, heat sensors, and it automatically notifies the local fire department when alarms go off. To top that off the datacenter is equipped with 24x7 surveillance equipment, motion sensors, and multiple levels of physical access controls.

It is hard to beat our network connectivity, datacenter, staff, and hardware. We encourage you to ask other hosting companies about their network. Then you will see that not many providers can provide you with the same level of service.
